지난달 24일 국학원(원장 권은미)에 따르면 안드레아 베로니카 바이스 가스탈디 주한우루과이 대리대사는 “대한민국 개천절을 경축하고, 대한민국 국민의 행복과 번영을 진심으로 기원한다"고  말했다.

국학원은 오는 3일 개천절을 맞이하여 전국 16개 광역시도에서 개천문화대축제를 개최한다. 특히, 서울에서는 당일 오전 10시 광화문 일대 세종로공원에서 종각역까지 단기 4348년 개천절을 경축하는 거리 행진을 하고 보신각에서 이수성 전 국무총리, 이승헌 글로벌사이버대학교 총장, 임마누엘 페스트라이쉬 경희대 국제대학 교수 등 각계 인사가 함께하는 타종식을 개최한다.(바로가기 클릭)

On the occasion of the National Foundation Day of the Republic of Korea, I would like to convey my warmest congratulations as well as my best wishes of happiness and prosperity to the people of the Republic of Korea.

Last year we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Korea, and I am delighted to say that relations between both countries, which are based on the spirit of friendship, are growing increasingly stronger, in areas of politics, economics, science, cooperation and culture.

I take this opportunity to reaffirm my desire to further enhance the excellent bond of friendship that already exists between our countries.

Let me again express my congratulations for the National Foundation Day of the Republic of Korea.
